Edith U.Llion Hatfield Harman, 94, of Irvington Alabama, formerly of Kingsley, Michigan, passed away on May 7, 2017 in Morton, Mississippi. Born September 14, 1922 in Ransom, Kentucky, she was preceded in death by her parents Ira "Cap" Hatfield and Sarah Mayse Hatfield, her husband Ernest Harman, daughter Karrol Harman, sisters Dorothy Ashley, Morie Hankins, Lucille Hough, Lorene Wessel, Emily Cauley, and brothers Eugene Hatfield, Everette Hatfield, and John Hatfield, also, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that passed in infancy.

Born September 14, 1922 in Ransom, Kentucky, she was preceded in death by her parents Ira "Cap" Hatfield and Sarah Mayse Hatfield, her husband Ernest Harman, daughter Karrol Harman, sisters Dorothy Ashley, Morie Hankins, Lucille Hough, Lorene Wessel, Emily Cauley, and brothers Eugene Hatfield, Everette Hatfield, and John Hatfield, also, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that passed in infancy.

Edith worked for the war effort during WWII. She was a homemaker whose passion was sewing. She handmade many of her own clothes and sewed most of her life for fun, friends and family. Although her given name was Edith, she was known to most as "Grammy".

Survivors include her children Elizabeth "Betty" Woodworth, Linda Margo, Jerry Harman, James Harman, E. Marie Harman and Gerald "Matt" Harman, twenty two grandchildren, sixty eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Ferrell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Covell Funeral Home, Kingsley, Michigan with the visitation on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. Burial Evergreen Cemetery, Kingsley, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Covell Funeral Home for the purchase of a headstone
